The Orchard playground and lawns

Free entry · Open 7 days

The Playground & Grounds

A fenced playground, farmyard, orange orchard and river walk on 50 Tench Avenue, Penrith. Come for the kids, stay for lunch.

A playground in Penrith with lunch beside it

The playground at The Orchard is fenced, free to use and open 7 days, with equipment for climbing, swinging and sliding that suits children of all ages. The farmyard sits beside it, with feeding sessions on weekends and school holidays, and the orange orchard, lawns and river walk down to the Nepean River are a few steps further. Parking inside the precinct is free.

Every kitchen in the Food Community is within sight of the playground, so parents eat while the kids play, and the kitchens cook for kids' parties held in Alfresco 2 right in front of it. Dogs are welcome on a lead across the lawns and outdoor dining, but not inside the playground itself.
