An outdoor, undercover space with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams for a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Outdoor heating for cold winter mornings and beautifully designed wooden fans for hot summer nights. Divides into Alfresco 1 (river side) and Alfresco 2 (orchard side).

Food and drinks

Catered by our own kitchens

Everything comes from Freddy's and the Food Community partners on site: shared banquets, canapes, high tea and kids' packages. Halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in every package. The events team sends the current menus with your quote, priced together with the space.

Check dates and get a quote

What happens if it rains?

The Alfresco is fully undercover with heating, so weather rarely changes the plan. Open sides can be screened on request.

How long can we book the space for?

Hire length is set with your quote and worked around your run sheet. Tell us your start and finish times in the enquiry and the events team will confirm what is possible.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No. The Orchard is fully licensed, so no outside alcohol can be brought onto the premises. Licensed bar service is available in every space and is added to your quote when you tick it on the enquiry form.

Can we bring our own food or a cake?

Cakes are welcome. Other outside food is not permitted; all catering comes from Freddy's and the Food Community kitchens on site, with halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in every package.

Is there parking?

Yes, free on-site parking, and the whole precinct is wheelchair accessible.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within 1 business day. Your venue hire and catering are quoted together so you see one number.
